Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026. This policy describes how FlareTracker handles information when you use the caregiver web app at flaretracker.net.
What we collect
- Account: Email address and authentication data via Supabase (sign-in with Google or magic link).
- Care log data: Information you enter about children under your care — events, medications, vitals, reminders, and related notes.
- Device vitals (optional): Health samples you sync from Health Connect on the Android app, or blood pressure (and related pulse) readings you authorize from Omron Connect via the Omron Partner API.
- Technical: Standard server and hosting logs from Netlify and Supabase (e.g. request timing, errors). We do not use this for advertising.
How we use it
Data is used only to operate FlareTracker for your account: display your log, run scheduling rules, send reminders you configure, and stage device readings for your review. We do not sell your data.
Omron Connect
If you connect Omron in Settings, we store OAuth tokens to fetch your Omron cloud readings into your import inbox. You can disconnect Omron or dismiss individual readings at any time. Omron's own privacy terms apply to data in Omron Connect.
Storage and sharing
Data is stored in our database (Supabase Postgres). Exports you generate (PDF, CSV) are created for you and are your responsibility to share safely. We do not publish child health data to the public web.
Your choices
- Sign out and stop using the app at any time.
- Disconnect Omron under Settings → Omron blood pressure.
- Dismiss or assign staged vitals before they enter a child timeline.
